1st Annual “Bowling for Scholars” Fundraiser
When: Saturday, May 9th, 8p-10p
Where: The 300 Club at Chelsea Piers
What: A fun team bowling event to raise money for the Foundation’s 2009 Scholarship Winner. 8-person teams will compete for a variety of fun prizes.
What else: In addition to bowling there will be a two-hour open Beer & Wine bar, as well as appetizers and food.
Lastly: There will be a 50/50 drawing at the end of the night. Don’t forget to buy tickets!
Cost: $60 per person (until 4/15), $70 per person after that.
SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER
1899 FOUNDATION'S ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
The 1899 Foundation will host the 10th Annual Mark D. Effner Golf Tournament to benefit the group's scholarship fund.
Date/Time: Thursday, July 24th, 2008, 12pm
Location: The Knoll West Country Club, Parsippany, NJ
Cost: $195 per player. Costs includes Lunch, Golf, Gift Bag, Dinner, and the chance to win big prizes!
Join us for a guaranteed afternoon of fun for a good cause.
The S.T.E.P. (Striving Toward Educational Potential) program benefits college-bound students at metro area NY/NJ schools such as Kearny, Fair Lawn, New Brunswick and Paterson East Side in New Jersey, and Norman Thomas, Chelsea and Seward Park in New York.
